I would like to thank all of my students and
customers who took time in there busy schedules to send testimonials
for the school. Without them I would not be able to pursue my
passion and do what I love to do.

Jon,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the superb job
you did with our group at our recent teambuilding activities.
After deciding on archery as a "cool" activity to try, we
found working with you very easy. My entire group left with
a good base knowledge of archery. We found your class to be
both informative and interesting. Your discussion around focus,
and the "process" versus "goals" methods lent to our overall
teambuilding spirit. It was also great that you gave everyone
a lot of practice time. The fact that we had a five month
pregnant woman participate (and enjoy!) speaks volumes about
the sport of archery and how it was a great choice for us.
Thanks for a most enjoyable afternoon.

I love archery at X-Ring! Jon is a great instructor and has
taught me so much in the short time I have been attending
his classes. Jon also has us focus immensely on each shot
and since I have started, my focus has improved greatly. I
have also learned to slow down and do things the right way
the first time because I know that any arrow that I shoot
without thinking of my form, is a shot wasted. I have even
met many friends because everybody here is so kind and helpful!
Archery has very quickly became my favorite sport and hobby!

Jon,
Prior to November I had never picked up a bow in my life,
but had always been curious about the sport. I’m so glad I
found you and your school. You’ve turned my curiosity into
a hobby with strong fundamentals. I’m glad I did not just
buy a bow and start to learn bad habits on my own. I may never
win a tournament but I’m having measurable success and having
the time of my life.
Thanks.

Jon,
I just wanted to let everyone know what a great experience
I had at X-Ring Archers. I've been a bow hunter for about
14 or 15 years and I often shoot 3-D targets with a group
of my friends as a means of friendly competition and as a
way to hone in on my archery skills. I am [was] a self taught
archer and I’m a rare breed who shoot a compound bow without
a release; i.e., finger shooter. Most of my friends shoot
with a release and during our 3-D competitions I routinely
ended up at the bottom on the score sheet. No matter how much
I practiced I just couldn't’t improve my score. I came to
X-Ring Archers to see if Jon could figure out what I was doing
wrong. I didn't’t care if I had to go back to square one if
it would improve my shooting. Well, it was easier for Jon
to explain to me what I was doing right rather for him to
explain what was wrong. Basically, I was doing nothing right,
so I had to go back to the beginning. In other words start
with the beginner class. My biggest problems were stance,
grip and aiming. Within a couple of months my shooting took
on a new life and I was shooting much better than I ever had
shot on my best days. I went from the bottom of the score
card to the top. My confidence in hunting situations was also
greatly improved due to my lessons at X-Ring Archers. Thanks
Jon for a job very well done and for being such a great instructor!!!!
Best Wishes,
Lee Hendricks

Jon,
Thank you for using positive reinforcement when teaching
my 7 year old, Megan. Helping her to see what she is doing
well will allow her to continue to improve as an archer. Thank
you also for encouraging me to join her on the path to archery.
Sharing archery strengthens us physically and as a family.

In November 2006 I started taking your beginner archery classes.
In January I bought my own bow. And in March I won a state
championship. Its so important to learn the correct form the
first time & I'm still learning so much more from bow tuning
& arrow building to string making. When I decide to switch
to a compound bow you'll be the one I turn to.

Three and a half years ago I decided to try archery at X-Ring
Archers. I've been shooting 2-3 times a week ever since. I
like the concentration and determination involved. Mr Bach
is understanding of all people's needs in learning to shoot.
He has helped me always try for my personal best.

I started out as a parent of a student and then decided to
give archery a try. I opted to start with private instruction
from Jon Bach. Soon I was able to join into intermediate classes
and even attend league. To me, perfecting form and aim in
archery is similar to enjoying golf yet it has the mind clearing
relaxation qualities of Yoga. I like that you can practice
the sport indoors and outdoors. Jon is an incredibly patient,
consistent and knowledgeable teacher.

Jon,
Just a quick note to let you know how much my son, Zack, and
I enjoyed the beginners Archery classes. I had not picked
up a bow in over 8 years, and Zack was new to the sport. Each
one of us learned exactly the same way, at the same pace.
and neither one of us missed anything - a real tribute to
the school's teaching style. We've continued to practice at
our own home "range". I was able to "un-learn" all of the
past bad habits I had, and correctly switched from left handed
shooting to right handed shooting while Zack was able to quickly
out-shine dad in the proper form department. Keep up the good
work and we'll be back for more advanced lessons. -
